Code of Ethics
This Code of Ethics explains the fundamentals of this organization, but does not address every ethical situation that may arise. Any and all questions must be referred to the Director overseeing your area. All members and officers are expected to obey all rules and regulations.
Regardless of Martial Arts status, members will control themselves to reflect the most proficient status. It is expected that all members evidence respect and integrity towards one another.
Members will put aside any and all differences , IN an effort to work together as a team.
Members will retain complete confidentiality. Violators will be dismissed immediately.
Members will ensure that no disgrace is brought upon the organization or its members.
Under no circumstances will sexual harassment or discrimination of race be accepted.
Unlawful activities will be immediate cause for dismissal.
All trademarks, logos or any other relative issue will be used for personal profit and will remain the property of this organization.
I, ______________________________, understand the above mentioned Code of Ethics and agree to comply with same. It is understood that I will be dismissed immediately should I violate any of these codes.

INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS ASSOC., INC. BY-LAWS (Effective January, 1977)
The IMAA is a structured organization, as illustrated in the attached Departmental Responsibility list. Additional or replacement Regional Directors or District Managers must be nominated by the existing Board of Directors or Regional Directors, and must receive the majority vote of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors consists of the President and Vice President of the IMAA, Inc..
Each Region shall have an Operating Committee consisting of 3 -5 members of the Region. The Committee will be appointed by the Regional Director who will act as Chairman of the Committee. The Committee shall meet twice per month, and will report to the Board of Directors. ( 1 )@

Topics discussed will consist of testing, tournaments, new and existing schools, new enrollment within the Organization, student problems and conflicts, suggestions,, payroll, furniture and fixture purchases, etc..
Testing for all brown belts and above must be given by a committee consisting of the System’s President, the Regional Director and the student’s teacher. If the teacher is the President or Regional Director, he will then appoint another qualified black belt in the system being tested, as the third member of the committee.
Membership fees will be twenty dollars ($20.00) annually. Checks will be made payable to the IMAA and forwarded to the Treasurer of the Board of Directors. All expenses must be approved by the Board of Directors.

Schools and Park Certificates are $50.00 annually. No school, park or gym may carry the name of the International Martial Arts Association, Inc. (IMAA) without written consent from the Board of Directors. No school, park or gym may use the IMAA insignia or logo without written consent from the Board of Directors.

Membership for Schools and Parks is $25.00 annually. Certificates for testing will be an additional charge, dependant upon the belt color. Checks will be made payable to the IMAA and forwarded to the Treasurer.
